Toymaker Studio is the home of Toymaker Toys, a toymaking company that creates handmade toys in the primitive style. There are two lines of toys: the "Plaything" line and the "Collectors" line. The Plaything line includes toys that are sewn mainly by machine, producing toys that will stand up to gentle play. They have hand-painted or -embroidered details and clothing that can be removed. The Collectors line includes toys that are hand-sewn and -detailed, suitable for collectors only. The Plaything line uses fabrics for clothing that are bright and child-friendly. The Collectors edition uses more authentic fabrics that might have been used in earlier years. Both lines produce one-of-a-kind, signed original toys.
Something new being added to Toymaker Studio are our own line of patterns, so that you can make some of the toys yourself. These are downloadable and ready to print. Please be patient while we get our patterns uploaded!
